Leila Rispens-Noel

Leila finished her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, major in Accounting at Holy Cross College in Davao City, Philippines. She then pursued and attained a Diploma in Rural and Agricultural Project Planning in Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands. She’s now a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Migration Studies at Miriam College.

Leila’s integrity as a resource person is backed with over 20 years of involvement in migrant work and mobilizing migrant organizations. She served as Program Manager in Oxfam Novib Netherlands, and as a member of the International Advisory Committee of the Civil Society Global Forum on Migration and Development. Moreover, her long list of experience in project management and migrant work exhibits her expertise in the field. Some of the positions she’s handling are; Senior Advisor of International Networks of Alternative Financial Institutions (INAFI), President and Co-founder of WIMLER Foundation Hong Kong Ltd. and Wimler Partnership for Social Progress (Philippines). She also delivered talks in several engagements, including the G8 Summit - High Level Meeting on Remittances in Berlin, Germany.
